At VLP Pharmacy, we prioritise the health and safety of your dog. Under Australian law, medications used to treat skin allergies in dogs are classified as Schedule 4 (S4) Prescription Only. These medications can only be dispensed by a registered pharmacist upon receipt of a valid, original paper prescription from an Australian registered veterinarian.
VLP Pharmacy’s 3-Step Ordering Process
1. Consult Your Veterinarian
Skin allergies are complex and require a professional diagnosis. Your vet must determine if a medication is appropriate for your dog and provide you with a written prescription.
2. Submit Your Order Online
Select the prescribed strength and pack size from our pharmacy collection. During checkout, you will be prompted to upload a digital copy of your prescription for our pharmacists to review.
3. Mail the Original Paper Prescription
Australian law requires pharmacies to hold the physical, original paper prescription before dispatching S4 medications. Once your order has been placed, mail the physical script.
