NexGard Spectra contains afoxalaner and milbemycin to provide complete protection against the most common internal and external parasites of dogs in New Zealand. Like NexGard, NexGard Spectra kills fleas fast, consistently and persistently for the entire duration of the treatment. It also treats ticks and mites. It has the added benefit of protecting against roundworms, hookworms and whipworms. When used monthly, NexGard Spectra is 100% effective in preventing flea tapeworm. As this is an oral treatment, it is not affected by bathing or swimming. Can be given with or without food. Please choose the correct weight range for your dog.

NexGard Spectra can be used in all dogs from 8 weeks of age and greater than 2 kg.
With five convenient weight ranges, there is a NexGard Spectra parasite solution for very small dogs, small dogs, medium dogs, large dogs and very large dogs.
For dogs over 60 kg use the appropriate combination of chews.
Indications
For the treatment and prevention of flea infestations, control of ticks and mites, prevention of heartworm, and treatment and control of intestinal worms in dogs and puppies from 8 weeks of age.
Directions
Can be given with or without food, on or about the same day each month. This product is safe for all breeds and puppies from 8 weeks of age and weighing at least 2 kg.
Dosage and Administration
Offer the chewable(s) appropriate for your dog’s weight at monthly intervals. Remove only one chewable at a time from the foil-backed blister card. NexGard Spectra may be broken into pieces and fed to dogs who normally swallow treats whole. NexGard Spectra is a soft, highly palatable chewable and is readily consumed by dogs when offered as a treat. Alternatively, NexGard Spectra may be added intact to a small amount of dog food.
Care should be taken that the dog consumes the complete dose, and treated dogs should be observed for a few minutes to ensure that part of the dose is not lost or rejected. If it is suspected that any of the dose has been lost, treat again with another full dose. If a dose is missed, administer the NexGard Spectra chewable(s) appropriate for your dog’s weight and resume a monthly dosing regimen. The recommended minimum monthly dosage is 2.5 mg afoxolaner per kg bodyweight and 0.5 mg milbemycin oxime per kg bodyweight:
For dogs over 60 kg, administer the appropriate combination of chewables. For optimal performance, treat your dog on or about the same day each month.
