Protexin Veterinary Pro-Kolin Advanced Paste for Dogs contains the probiotic Enterococcus faecium (PXN-33), which helps promote good bacteria in their gut microbiome. It also contains the prebiotic Preplex, which feeds these good bacteria, and Pectin, which soothes the gut lining.
Fibre for firmer, regular poops:
Psyllium, a soluble dietary fibre, regulates intestinal transit time and, alongside the natural binding agents Kaolin and Montmorillonite, helps firm up faeces.

What is the difference between Pro-Kolin+ and Pro-Kolin Advanced?
Pro-Kolin Advanced contains the same high-quality ingredients as the original Pro-Kolin, but also contains a few extra ingredients to further support the gastrointestinal tract. These extra ingredients include another clay, montmorillonite, fibre in the form of psyllium and also beta-glucans. In addition to this, Pro-Kolin Advanced is now available as separate products for dogs and cats with different flavourings to please the most discerning canines and felines.

A prebiotic, consisting of oligofructose and acacia gum, which helps to feed and stimulate the growth of beneficial bacteria.
Kaolin and Montmorillonite
A dual benefit natural binding agent which helps to firm up the faeces.
Pectin
To help soothe the gut lining.
Psyllium
To absorb excess water in the gastrointestinal tract and regulate intestinal motility.

Instruction for Use
Pro-Kolin Advanced is a highly palatable paste which is available in 15ml, 30ml and 60ml syringes with easy to read graduations, making the product easy to administer.
We recommend using 15ml and 30ml syringes for small to medium dogs but also in a handy 60ml syringe for larger dogs.
Give by mouth for as long as considered necessary or as advised by your veterinary surgeon.
Pro-Kolin Advanced can be given up to three times daily, depending on severity.
Simultaneous use alongside oral macrolides should be avoided

Storage
Pro-Kolin Advanced has a 2 year shelf life from the date of manufacture. Once open replace the lid securely and store in a cool dry area. Stored correctly Pro-Kolin Advanced will last until the Best Before End date even if it has been opened.

Remove the cap from the end of the syringe and press the plunger to deliver the product directly into your pet’s mouth; you can also mix the product in with your pet’s food. Ensure the nozzle is thoroughly cleaned and dried after each use and always replace the cap. We would recommend giving Pro-Kolin Advanced for 2-3 days (although it may be used for longer under instruction from your veterinary surgeon). Any animal with digestive disturbances lasting longer than 2-3 days should be checked by a veterinary surgeon. If your animal shows signs of being unwell then you should contact your veterinary surgeon as soon as possible.

Pro-Kolin Advanced can be used in animals from 8 weeks of age. Please contact the Veterinary Technical Team if you feel you may need to use this product in younger animals.
