Product Information
The Selapro® range of topical parasiticides contains Selamection a novel semi-synthetic compound of the macrocyclic lactone class, in a colourless to pale yellow, ready to use solution. It is available in single dose pipettes for topical (dermal) treatment of dogs beginning at six weeks of age. The content of each pipette is formulated to provide a minimum of 6 mg selamectin/kg body weight.
Selapro® may be safely applied to heartworm infected animals, however, it is recommended, in accordance with good veterinary practice, that all animals over 6 months of age be tested for existing heartworm infections before beginning medication with Selapro®.

How to Use
Apply one (1) pipette topically to the skin at the recommended minimum dose of 6 mg Selamectin/kg body weight once a month.
- Remove the pipette from the outer sachet using scissors or fold along diagonal line to expose nick; tear back at nick.
- Hold the pipette upright.
- Tap the narrow part of the pipette to ensure the contents remain within the main body of the pipette.
- Twist or snap back the tip.
- Apply the product directly to the skin without massaging into the site. Part the hair on the back of the animal in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
- Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze to empty its entire contents directly onto the skin in one spot.
Avoid contact between the product and fingers. Keep away from eyes. Do not apply when the hair coat is wet. Bathing or shampooing the animal two or more hours after treatment will not reduce the efficacy of Selapro®.
Indications
For the treatment, control and prevention of flea (Ctenocephalides spp.) infestations, control of flea allergy dermatitis, prevention of heartworm disease caused by Diro laria immitis and the treatment and control of ear mites (Otodectes cynotis) in dogs.
For the treatment and control of sarcoptic mange (Sarcoptes scabiei) in dogs. For the treatment of biting (Trichodectes canis) and sucking lice (Linognathus setosus) in dogs.
Contraindications
This product is contraindicated for use on dogs less than 6 weeks of age.
Safety
No adverse effects were observed when Selapro® was applied at 10 times the recommended dose and in pregnant and lactating females, breeding males and females and dogs six weeks of age and older.

Store below 30°C (Room temperature) in the original carton, to protect from light.
