Reviews Summary
Customers say this specialized food has made a noticeable difference for their pets' digestive comfort. Many reviews mention improved coat condition and reduced skin issues. Most dogs enjoy eating these kibbles, though one found their pet refused it. The food appears particularly helpful for pets with sensitive stomachs, with many noting fewer digestive upsets. Some mention making it into a warm mush for variety. While reviews note the higher price point, most find the results worthwhile.

Excellent for Dogs with Severe Allergies

After struggling for months to find a solution for my dog’s chronic skin and digestive issues, our vet recommended Royal Canin Anallergenic. I was skeptical at first, but within just a few weeks of switching, the results were remarkable. My dog’s constant scratching and ear infections significantly reduced, and her coat became noticeably shinier and healthier.

The hydrolyzed protein formula seems to be the key—it’s gentle on her stomach and doesn’t trigger any allergic reactions. While it’s on the pricier side, the peace of mind knowing she’s no longer uncomfortable is absolutely worth it. She loves the taste too, which is a big bonus since she’s quite a picky eater.

If your dog has food sensitivities or confirmed allergies, this is definitely worth trying (under veterinary guidance). It’s been a game-changer for us!

    Useful in determining food allergies

This has been a great product to stabilise my dog's gut and allow us to work through systematically which proteins (fish, pork, chicken, kangaroo) he is especially sensitive too. Very quick results. Am pleased it was suggested by our vet.

Frequently Asked Questions

Dry diets should be stored in their original bags and resealed between feeding. Most small bags include a re-sealable zipper. If the bag does not have this feature, it’s recommended to keep the product in the original bag and store in a dry, airtight plastic or steel container with a lid.

For dry diets, palatability of the kibble remains at its best for one month after the bag is opened, however will be fine for up to two months so long as the bag is stored properly, in a cool, dry, airtight container.

Introducing your pet onto a new diet should done gradually over 5 - 7 days to avoid the possibility of digestive upset. We suggest:

Mix 25% of your new diet with 75% of your pet’s previous diet for 2 or 3 days

Then mix the two diets 50% and 50% for 2 or 3 days

Then mix 75% of the new diet with 25% of the previous diet for 2 or 3 days

You can now try feeding with 100% of the new diet.
