Product Information

Rose-Hip Vital® Canine is a plant-based anti-inflammatory and immune system support for your dog's joint health and general wellbeing. Made from Rosehips manufactured with patented processes, Rose-Hip Vital® Canine is scientifically and clinically proven to reduce inflammation, protect cartilage, improve general health and improve performance.

Patented extraction and drying processes isolate and activate the compound GOPO® (glycoside of mono and diglycerol) which has scientifically proven anti-inflammatory and antioxidative properties. GOPO® works by stopping excess white blood cells from gathering around inflamed tissue, thereby helping to break the cycle of inflammation and protect cartilage. Rosehip products that do not contain GOPO® have not been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties.

  • Joint pain and joint mobility
  • Prevention of joint problems
  • Osteoarthritis / degenerative joint disease
  • Cartilage protection
  • Immune system support & general wellbeing
  • Recovery after exercise, injury or surgery

Rose-Hip Vital® products are backed by more than 30 scientific studies including 9 clinical trials unique to the Rose-Hip Vital® brand.

Thanks to patented extraction and drying processes, Rose-Hip Vital® Canine contains the active compound GOPO® (glycoside of mono and diglycerol).

Dosage and Administration

Start with the Loading Dose for the first 3 weeks, then drop to the Maintenance Dose ongoing. The Loading Dose is a system kickstarter so your dog can begin their journey with their best paw forward. Results are typically noticed after 3 weeks on the Loading Dose.

Mix Rose-Hip Vital powder in with your dogs food. Do not mix with hot food or hot liquid. 2.5g scoop included.

If your dog eats twice a day, mix half the recommended dosage into the mornings meal and the remaining into the evening meal. If your dog eats once daily, mix full recommended dosage into meal.

Dosage is recommended on your dogs weight check out the table to find your dog's recommended dosage.

Dogs weighing less than 7.5kg (16.5lb)

One of the great things about Rose-Hip Vital is that there are no known side-effects or contraindications so there is no risk of overdosing. When it comes to Rose-Hip Vital the more the better! However with a dog weighing less than 7.5kgs (16.5lb) you can, in theory, halve the lowest dosage and see the same results. In this case we would recommend 1 Scoop Daily as your Loading Dose and 1/2 Scoop Daily ongoing.

Tips for fussy eaters

If you already know your dog is a fussy eater, we suggest you gradually introduce Rose-Hip Vital Canine. Start with a small pinch of powder and slowly increase to the recommended dose over time. Other tips to get your fussy dog to eat Rose-Hip Vital Canine include mixing it with wet food, mince, sardines, tuna, yoghurt, cottage cheese, milk, raw egg, butter or stock. Remember to avoid hot food or liquid.

Dogs with a history of stomach sensitivity

Introduce Rose-Hip Vital Canine very slowly. Start with a small pinch of powder and gradually increase once tolerance has been established.

    Excellent must try

My dog has had arthritis for 2 years with vet-medicated treatments. I've been looking for additional supplements to add to her diet to help her discomfort and saw relief and an extra spring in her step after 3 days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Rose-Hip Vital® Canine contains just one single ingredient – Rosehip berries ground into a powder. That’s it, nothing else is added, however, it’s not quite that simple. Rose-Hip Vital rosehips go through patented extraction and drying processes. These processes give Rose-Hip Vital it’s powerful anti-inflammatory properties.

GOPO® is the active compound in Rose-Hip Vital which makes it unique.

Patented extraction and drying processes isolate and activate the galactolipid/fatty acid called GOPO® which has scientifically proven anti-inflammatory and antioxidative properties.

GOPO® works by stopping excess white blood cells from gathering around inflamed tissue, thereby breaking the cycle of inflammation and protecting cartilage.

After approximately 3 weeks your dog should start to feel positive effects.
