Active Constituents
Each mL contains: Phytomenadione 10 mg.
Dosage and Administration
Dogs and Cats: Initiate treatment promptly using Koagulon™ vitamin K1 Injection; continue maintenance therapy with Koagulon™ vitamin K1 Syrup in dogs and cats. 1 pump = 1 mL
Administer 1 to 5 mg/kg bodyweight (1 to 5 mL/10 kg) daily at feeding time or as directed by the veterinarian.
High doses and long-term therapy may be required for second generation coumarin-type rodenticides (e.g. Brodifacoum and bromadioline) and indanediones (e.g. Diphacinone).
Contraindications
This product is contraindicated in pregnant animals. This product should not be used if separation has occurred or oil droplet have appeared. Vitamin K administration is not effective in cases of heparin overdosage. Shake before use.
By law the user must take due care, obtaining expert advice when necessary, to avoid unnecessary pain and distress when using this product other than as directed on the label.
