    Leo enjoys his biscuits

    Our much loved cat Leo has inflammatory bowel disease and he enjoys the Purina Pro Plan food in addition to two wet foods. The 3.63kg is too large with the expiry dates only being about 6 months after delivery.

    My Cat Loves This Kibble

    Initially I tried my cat on an alternative brand of hydrolyzed dry food which she would barely touch. My vet suggested the Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diet Feline HA Hydrolyzed Dry Cat Food and she ate the whole bowl the first time she tried it. It has now been 3 weeks and she still clears her bowl each time I put it out for her. Unfortunately there hasn't been a change in her allergic dermatitis so it doesn't seem to be a food allergy causing it, but I will keep her on this kibble as she eats so well on it.

    Elimination Diet for suspected food allergy

    My beautiful girl has to be on a strict Elimination Diet for management of her skin disorder. She normally eats a large variety of food but as everyone knows cats can be extremely fussy and she is no exception. I am devastated by her diagnosis and was very worried about the dietary restrictions. However thank goodness she loves this dry food! It is all that she is allowed for at least 8 weeks. We are half way through the trial and she is maintaining her weight. I do not hesitate to recommend this brand of hydrolysed dry cat food.
