This has turned out to be a great way of getting my puppy used to having her teeth cleaned. I don't think it will ever do as good a job as a toothbrush, but it has been my saviour. Now that puppy is used to having something in her mouth that's not food (and I use the PetSmile toothpaste, which my other dogs love), I'm on the road to a peaceful 'Teef Time' with all three of them. My senior sausage absolutely hates getting her teeth brushed and it's always a fight to do it for her. I've used a tissue to remove a bit of food from her gumline (where a tooth was removed) and I thought "I wonder if there's any actual options like this to buy" and lo and behold, this finger cloth. It's quite thick and takes a little while to dry after you've used it and given it a rinse, but I'm having far more success with it than I ever have with brushes!
