Cat Mangina - a urinary problem before the operation!

I think these cat foods are designed to help cats with urinary problems and supports it to keep that cats happy as most of the cat foods at the supermarkets are not suitable for our cat and we have to be super careful what we feed him.

Good ingredients but a shame the can is not BPA free

It's a great option for my 4 yro feline who likes her biscuits and suffers from urinary issues constantly. She likes this one when she's in the right mood. I just wish that Hill's would make these cans without the white plastic lining containing BPA. BPA free cans would be so much better for their health!

Frequently Asked Questions

Just as eating amounts vary from person to person, eating amounts vary from pet to pet. Most Hill's™ pet foods have a feeding guide on the package to help you determine the proper amount to feed your pet. However, the feeding guide is intended only as a starting point. It's critical to your pet's health that his or her physical condition be monitored regularly and the feeding amount adjusted as needed. To access the suggested feeding guide for Hill’s brand pet food that you feed your pet

Opened cans of Science Diet®, Science Diet VetEssentials or Prescription Diet® dog food should be stored in the fridge to retain moisture, minimize exposure to air and reduce transfer of odors to other food. The best way to store opened cans of cat or dog food is to use a plastic pet food lid that fits the top of the can to prevent moisture loss and transfer of odors. If a plastic lid is not available, plastic wrap also provides a very good moisture, air and odor barrier. Zip-to-close bags provide good moisture barriers but do not provide good oxygen and odor barriers.

In this situation, we suggest following one or more of the tips below to encourage your pet to eat.

  • If you are starting to feed your pet a new food, a gradual transition from the current food to a new food helps wean your pet from one food to another.
  • For dogs, allow 10-20 minutes for your dog to eat, then remove the remaining food and wait to feed your dog until his next meal.
  • If you are feeding dry pet food, try hand-feeding the kibble from your hand in small portions for the first few feedings, like a treat.
