    Dinner time biscuits

The large pieces are great for tiny mouths like Bridie’s so she has to really chew it up which helps with her teeth

    A good help

This was product recommended from our vet years ago for another of our dogs who was not a chewer and as a result teeth were always an issue for him. We are now using it for the youngest of our dogs who is 8yrs. He too is not a chewer, but has learned to do so with this large size kibble. It is one of a few things that we include in our routine for helping to keep dental issues at bay.

On occasion our dog looses interest in this food - but a little liver treat mixed in works wonders

Frequently Asked Questions

Bags of dry Science Diet®, Science Diet VetEssentials and Prescription Diet® cat or dog food should be stored in a cool, dry environment under 38°C (100°F)? This is to prevent destruction of vitamins and oxidation of fats leading to rancidity. Pet foods will retain their best flavor if stored in the original bag, which provides a fat barrier. Storage at temperatures of 48°C (120°F) for more than 48 hours can accelerate the normal degradation or destruction of the vitamins.

We do not recommend feeding people food or table scraps. Veterinarians strongly believe that feeding pets table scraps or "people" food can lead to excesses or deficiencies of nutrients in your pet's nutrition which over time may lead to health problems for your pet (like obesity). Feeding table scraps or “people” food can also result in a more finicky pet.

Just like people, eating amounts vary from pet to pet. Most Hill's pet foods have a feeding guide on the package to help you determine the proper amount to feed your pet. Please keep in mind that the feeding guide is intended only as a starting point, and you should follow your veterinarian’s recommendation based on your pet's specific health needs.
