D-Scour Paste is a non-antibiotic treatment & control of scours.

D-Scour has been formulated to control scours through the combined action of selected natural live micro-organisms (probiotics) complemented by a natural yet powerful antimicrobial. Another major plus for this product is that it does not contain any chemical or antibiotic components, simply ingredients supplied by Mother Nature. Concentrated multi-strain probiotic with garlic extract as an aid in the treatment and control of scour in animals. 

  • For horses, foals, ponies, cattle, calves, sheep, goats, lambs, kids, pigs and piglets
  • Formulated to control scours through the combined action of selected natural live micro-organisms (probiotics) complemented by a natural yet powerful antimicrobial
  • Natural product - does not contain any chemical or antibiotic components
  • Both the probiotics and the antimicrobial attack the micro-organisms which cause scouring without affecting the beneficial bacteria within the animal's gut

 

Active constituents:

Each gram contains: 180 million CFU as: Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus delbrueckii subspecies bulgaricus, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Bifidobacterium bifidum, Enterococcus faecium, Streptococcus salivarius subspecies thermophilus and 20 mg Garlic Extract (Allium sativum).


Dosage and Administration

Restraint: D-Scour Paste™ should not be used in conjunction with Penicillins, Cephalosporins, Tetracyclines, Avoparcin, Gentomycin, Lincomycin, Streptomycin, Tiamulin or Tylosin, but may be used immediately following these antibiotics.

  • Depress plunger into the mouth, ensure paste is administered on the rear of the tongue.
  • Hold animal’s head raised for a few seconds after dosing to ensure the paste is swallowed. 
  • Use recommended dose at first signs of stress* or infection. 
  • Administer daily for up to 5 days, or as directed by a veterinarian.

Storage and Handling Instructions

  • Store in original containers.
  • Keep containers securely sealed.
  • Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area.
  • Store away from incompatible materials and foodstuff containers
  • Avoid all personal contact, including inhalation.
  • Wear protective clothing when risk of exposure occurs.
  • Use in a well-ventilated area.
  • Prevent concentration in hollows and sumps.
