Farnam Buffered Iodine™ Spray aids in the treatment of topical, bacterial and fungal infections in animals.
A safe and effective topical spray suitable for general antiseptic purposes on the skin of most animals. It can be used to control topical infection of the skin, keeping wounds dry and covered with a protective residue film of iodine to provide prolonged activity. Buffered Iodine Spray may be used in numerous surgical procedures and as a topical agent for various dermal and mucosal infections such as wounds, cuts, abrasions, burns, ringworm, navel disinfection in newly born animals, castration and docking wounds, udder wounds and cut teats.

Active constituents:
Each L contains: Povidone Iodine 50 g/L equivalent to 5 g/L available iodine
Direction for Use
Do Not Apply to Eyes or Mucous Membranes.
If used on milking cows post milking, ensure teats and udders are Clean and Dry before next milking to reduce residues in the milk. Not for use as a pre-milking treatment.
Repeated use on open wounds is not recommended.
Shake bottle and hold upright. Apply Buffered Iodine™ Spray using pump action. Hold bottle about 15 cm from area
to be treated. Spray the affected area twice daily until healed.
Storage and Handling Instructions
- Store in original containers.
- Keep containers securely sealed.
- No smoking, naked lights or ignition sources.
- Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area.
- Store away from incompatible materials and foodstuff containers.
- Protect containers against physical damage and check regularly for leaks
