The muzzle is great quality and appears to be comfortable but unfortunately it doesn't fit my Bullmastiff, her muzzle is still too wide to fit this muzzle. Delivery was super speedy and no complaints, just my dog is too big lol. I wanted this because one of my girls is an obsessive grass eater and rips runners out and often not well with it, was going to use it just when in the house yard, not the paddocks or inside but.....

We got this for our anxious dog who is prone to lunging at strangers and other dogs on pathways! I followed the introduction tips in the video from Baskerville and one week after purchasing it he is happily wearing it twice a day on walks and doesn’t protest at all. I love that it’s easy to give him treats through the muzzle and he can still pant and bark easily if he needs to. It’s going to be useful for trips to the vet too to keep everyone safe! We bought a size 4 for a 30 kg beagle/labrador cross so go smaller if in doubt about the size. Thanks for making walks less stressful!!

Please use the sizing guide on this page in the Image Gallery to determine which sizing category your dog falls into. If your dog's nose length and circumference fall into different sizing categories, please use the nose length measurement to determine the best size.
Please see the guidance chart and how to video on this page for more information on how to re-shape your Ultra Muzzle to custom fit your dog. As an initial overview; firstly, place the muzzle in hot tap water for 2 minutes. Take the muzzle out of the water and when it is safe to touch, use your hands to shape the muzzle basket to suit your dog. Cool in cold water to lock in the shape. and then try the muzzle on your dog to check if it is the right fit. If necessary remould the muzzle again until it is right. Please note you may need to reshape the muzzle every so often as the material will return to its original shape over time.
Due to the Baskerville basket style design, our muzzles can be worn for longer periods e.g. for daily dog walks, as the dog can pant and drink at all times with the muzzle on. However, even with Baskerville muzzles we do not recommend leaving these on your dog for extended periods of time unless absolutely necessary e.g. your dog is aggressive even at home. We recommend, as with all our products, to fully supervise your dog while they are wearing the muzzle from both a safety and welfare perspective. In the early days of muzzle training this will also ensure your dog does not remove the muzzle and potentially chew the product.
