How much does shipping cost?

Vets Love Pets has FREE delivery Australia wide for all orders over $49!

This FREE delivery service also applies to our customers living in regional areas of Australia. A flat rate shipping charge of $7.95 per order applies to orders $49 or less. All prices are in Australian dollars and shipping costs (where applicable) are payable in addition to the cost of the product.

Please note that we are unable to deliver to PO boxes or Parcel Lockers.

 

Delivery instructions and time frames

Vets Love Pets offers a reliable and affordable delivery service to all metro and regional locations within Australia including Tasmania. Orders are usually delivered in 2-3 business days although this may take slightly longer for some destinations in regional areas. You will receive a notification email when your order has been dispatched from our warehouse. Please contact our friendly customer service team if you have any questions about your delivery.

 

Do you deliver on Public Holidays and Weekends?

Our couriers do not operate on weekends or public holidays. If you place an order on the weekend it will be dispatched from our warehouse on Monday (or the next business day if Monday is a public holiday). Please be prepared for slight delays to your delivery around Christmas, Easter and other public holidays. It's best to plan your delivery ahead of time - especially during busy holiday periods and if you have any questions, give us a call.

 

Do you deliver outside of Australia?

At this present time, we do not deliver internationally.

 

How will my order be shipped?

Vets Love Pets uses a courier partner to deliver our shipments. As with most delivery services, the couriers that will deliver your order do not have a standard or set time of the day that goods are delivered. Your order will be delivered on weekdays (Monday to Friday) and generally only during business hours 8am to 6pm.

Please note, Vets Love Pets is unable to make deliveries to PO boxes.

 

Do I need to be home to receive my delivery?

During the checkout process, the authority to leave option is selected as a default, this means our drivers have authority to leave your order on your property without a signature on delivery. However if you do not wish to give authority to leave, please uncheck this box when checking out.  

If you have problems with your delivery please contact us and we'll always work with you to address any issues.

If you do not give authority to leave your order, this is the delivery policy;

If you are not home when the courier attempts to deliver your order they will typically leave a note or calling card. This calling card usually contains the details needed to contact the courier to arrange a suitable re-delivery date. The courier will attempt to redeliver to you however if for any reason you do not contact them and/ or they are unable to contact you, the delivery may be returned to us.  If returned, we will contact you and either arrange another delivery (at an additional cost to you), or we will arrange a refund of the order value less any incurred delivery costs. If you have problems with your delivery please contact us and we'll always work with you to address any issues.

 

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Vets Love Pets orders will usually take 2-3 business days to be delivered, slightly longer in regional or remote areas - depending on the destination. Delivery times may be subject to stock availability and public holidays, we will notify you if we expect extended delays. If your order is taking longer than expected please let us know so we can investigate this for you. What are my rights under the Australian Consumer Law?

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

 

Where a failure does not amount to a major failure, Vets Love Pets is entitled to choose between providing you with a repair, replacement or other suitable remedy. Any cost incurred by you in returning the product to Vets Love Pets will be borne by you.

 

Your rights to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law are not limited by a defined time. However, the Australian Consumer Law does recognise that the relevant time period can vary from product to product, depending on factors such as the nature of the product and the price. Vets Love Pets adopts the same approach. As you can appreciate, the type of remedy we can offer you may also vary depending on how long it takes you to return the product to us. The timeframes set out in this policy are considered fair and reasonable given the types of products sold.
