Product Information

Royal Canin Persian Adult Dry Cat Food is a balanced and complete feed for adult cats - Specially for Persian cats - Over 12 months old. The Persian cat has the longest and densest coat of all cat breeds. This means that it typically needs to consume more skin-health focused nutrients than other cat breeds. That’s why Royal Canin® Persian Adult contains an exclusive complex of nutrients to help the skin’s barrier defence role to maintain good skin and coat health. Due to their long fur, Persian cats are prone to the formation of hairballs, which can cause discomfort.

Skin & Coat
A long, luxuriant coat, with a dense undercoat, is the hallmark of the Persian cat. PERSIAN contains an exclusive complex of nutrients which helps support the skin’s “barrier” role, thus maintaining skin and coat health. Formula enriched with Omega 3 fatty acids (EPA & DHA) and Omega 6 fatty acids.

Hairball Reduction
A combination of specific fibres helps stimulate instestinal transit and naturally limit hairball formation.

Digestive Performance
Helps maintain digestive health and promote a balance in the intestinal flora.

Urinary Health
Formulated with a balance of minerals to help maintain the health of an adult cat’s urinary system.

Exclusive Kibble: Special Brachycephalic Jaw
This specially designed almond-shaped kibble with an optimal contact surface area is easy for the Persian cat to pick up and chew.

Frequently Asked Questions

Dry diets should be stored in their original bags and resealed between feeding. Most small bags include a re-sealable zipper. If the bag does not have this feature, it’s recommended to keep the product in the original bag and store in a dry, airtight plastic or steel container with a lid.

For dry diets, palatability of the kibble remains at its best for one month after the bag is opened, however will be fine for up to two months so long as the bag is stored properly, in a cool, dry, airtight container.

Introducing your pet onto a new diet should done gradually over 5 - 7 days to avoid the possibility of digestive upset. We suggest:

Mix 25% of your new diet with 75% of your pet’s previous diet for 2 or 3 days

Then mix the two diets 50% and 50% for 2 or 3 days

Then mix 75% of the new diet with 25% of the previous diet for 2 or 3 days

You can now try feeding with 100% of the new diet.
